Sacred Sojong and Yarne Preliminary Rites at Palyul Monastery

࿐སྤྱི་ལོ་༢༠༢༦ སྤྱི་ཟླ་༠༧ ཚེས་ ༢༩ ཆུ་སྟོད་ཟླ་བའི་གྲལ་ཚེས་༡༥ སྔ་དྲོ་ཕྱག་ཚོད་༥:༤༥ ཐོག་བཀྲ་ཤིས་པའི་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་དཔལ་ཡུལ་ཨོ་རྒྱན་རྡོ་རྗེ་ཆོས་གླིང་དུ། དབྱར་གནས་མཁན་པོ་ཕུར་པ་དབུ་བཞུགས་ཐོག་དགེ་འདུན་བཙུན་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་གསོ་སྦྱོང་བཅོ་ལྔ་པ་འཚོགས་ཚར་བ་དང་། དབྱར་གནས་མཁན་པོས་དབྱར་ཁས་ལེན་གྱི་སྔོན་འགྲོ་གནས་བསྡུ་བ་དང་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་བདེ་བ་ལ་རེག་པར་གནས་པར་བགྱི་བའི་སླད་དུ་མཚམས་བུ་ཆུང་བཅད་པ་དང་། གནས་མལ་སྟོབས་པ་བསྐོས་པ། དབྱར་བདག་པས་དབྱར་ཁྲིམས་བརྗོད་པ། ཚུལ་ཤིང་བྲིམ་པ། གདན་ཆ་འབོག་པ། གདིང་ཁྲིམས་བརྗོད་པ། རུང་ཁང་བྱིན་རླབས་བྱ་བ་རྣམས་༸གྲུབ་དབང་སྐུ་ཕྲེང་གཉིས་པ་ཐུབ་བསྟན་ཆོས་ཀྱི་གླང་པོའི་གཞི་གསུམ་ཆོ་གའི་ཟིན་བྲིས་ལྟར་ཕྱག་བཞེས་གནང་ཡོད།

On July 29, 2026 (15th day of the sixth Tibetan lunar month), at 5:45 a.m., at the main assembly hall of Palyul Urgyen Dorje Chöling Monastery, the Sangha, under the leadership of the Yarne (Summer Retreat) Khenpo, Khenpo Phurpa, completed the 15th-day Sojong (Purification and Restoration of Vows) ceremony.

Following the Sojong, the Khenpo conducted the preliminary rites for formally entering the Yarne (Summer Retreat). In accordance with the Vinaya tradition and for the well-being and harmonious practice of the monastic community, the following ceremonies were carried out:

* Establishing the retreat boundaries (minor boundary).

* Appointing the monk responsible for accommodation and residence.

* Recitation of the Yarne disciplinary rules by the retreat supervisor.

* Distribution of the voting sticks (tsul shing).

* Allocation of seats.

* Recitation of the regulations concerning seating arrangements.

* Blessing of the retreat quarters.

All of these rituals were performed in accordance with the ritual manual of the Three Fundamental Monastic Procedures (Zhi Sum Choga) composed by His Holiness the Second Drubwang, Thubten Chökyi Langpo.

वि.सं. २०८३ साउन १३ गते (सन् २०२६ जुलाई २९), तिब्बती पात्रोअनुसार छैटौं महिनाको १५औँ तिथि, बिहान ५:४५ बजे, पल्युल उर्ग्येन दोर्जे क्षोलिङ गुम्बाको मुख्य सभाहलमा, वर्षावास (यार्ने) का प्रमुख खेन्पो फुर्पाको अध्यक्षतामा सम्पूर्ण भिक्षु सङ्घले पन्ध्रौँ दिनको सोजोङ अर्थात् प्रतिमोक्ष व्रतको शुद्धीकरण समारोह सम्पन्न गर्नुभयो।

सोजोङ सम्पन्न भएपछि, औपचारिक रूपमा यार्ने (वर्षावास) प्रारम्भ गर्न आवश्यक पूर्वविधिहरू सम्पन्न गरिए। भिक्षु सङ्घको सुख, सद्भाव र विनय अनुशासनको पालनाका लागि निम्न कार्यहरू विधिपूर्वक सम्पन्न गरिएः

* वर्षावासको सानो सीमा (मठको परिधि) निर्धारण।

* बसोबास तथा आवास व्यवस्थापनको जिम्मेवारी तोक्ने।

* वर्षावासका नियमहरूको औपचारिक वाचन।

* मतदानका काठका छडी (छुलशिङ) वितरण।

* आसन (गद्दी) को व्यवस्था तथा बाँडफाँट।

* आसनसम्बन्धी विनय नियमहरूको वाचन।

* वर्षावासका कक्षहरूको आशीर्वाद।

यी सम्पूर्ण विधिहरू दोस्रो द्रुबवाङ थुब्तेन छोकी लाङ्पोद्वारा रचित “आधारभूत तीन मठीय विधि” (Zhi Sum Choga) मा वर्णित विनय परम्परा र विधिअनुसार सम्पन्न गरिएका हुन्।
